The 800 Years Star

Okay Ohana!

Have you all heard about what has become known as the "Christmas Star" or "Star of Bethlehem" that appeared on December 21, 2020?

A friend of mine mentioned that this star would appear that night, and that it had been 800 YEARS since the last time this rare occurrence took place. According to NASA, this was a "planetary conjunction (the action or an instance of two or more events or things occurring at the same point in time or space) of Jupiter and Saturn. Basically the two would overlap each other and formed what looked like and extremely bright and shiny star.

This woman captured this historical event! (It also happens to be my favorite video capturing the star because, unlike others, she did not edit the video!)

I tried my best to see it with my own eyes, but wasn't even able to see the moon that night. Thankfully this woman caught it all on camera. It was quite fascinating to see the two stars getting closer and closer together! Let me know what you all think!

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! There is brightness on the horizon, LITERALLY, and I am certainly looking forward to a brand new start in this upcoming New Year!

Mahalo Ke Akua (Thank you God) for my Ohana (Family)!
