DYNAMIC 2021 ARTIST TO WATCH PERFORMS A MASHUP OF “HELLO HELLO HELLO” AND “PHOTO ID,” FROM HER FIRST LATEST EP, I'M ALLERGIC TO DOGS!
Remi Wolf, the LA based singer-songwriter-producer whose most recent single “Hello Hello Hello” streaked to the Billboard Alternative Digital Top 10 (and inside the Alternative Airplay Top 40), brought it to NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night, for a show-stopping vibrant performance that also included her breakout track “Photo ID,” which has amassed over one billion global views on TikTok. Both songs are featured on Remi’s major label debut EP on Island Records, I'M ALLERGIC TO DOGS!
Currently working on new music, Remi Wolf has been on a non-stop thrill ride since "Woo!" arrived last April, as the first release from I'M ALLERGIC TO DOGS! The track built on the momentum of Remi’s 2019 indie debut EP You're A Dog! and sold out tours with Cautious Clay and Still Woozy. The dizzying and dazzling "Woo!" video from Dazed 100-nominated director Augusta Yr painted a kaleidoscopic candyland that introduced Remi's colorfully vibrant style and come-hither sense of humor to a worldwide audience, while redefining the pop landscape. Remi’s fanbase was expanding by the minute via early critical acclaim from Billboard, The Guardian, Pigeons & Planes, NPR, PAPER, NME, the BBC and more.
The run-up to I'M ALLERGIC TO DOGS! release brought new videos directed by Augusta Yr for "Photo ID" (over 2.7 million YouTube views to date) and "Disco Man." Augusta Yr eventually delivered 3-D animated visuals for “Woo!,” “Photo ID,” and “Disco Man” that took place in a Willy Wonka meets Fortnite world created around an innovatively styled clone muse leader. The songs were also given remixes by Little Dragon ("Disco Man" remix), Free Nationals ("Photo ID" remix), and Porches ("Woo!" remix). Since November, the "Hello Hello Hello" (Polo & Pan remix) was brought into millions of homes as it was synced in the Apple iPhone 12 mini and Pro Max commercials.
The arrival of I'M ALLERGIC TO DOGS! was followed by the first drive-in concert of 2020 in Los Angeles. Remi was using her platform to support The Plus1 For Black Lives Fund, and local L.A. community center charity Summaeverythang. Pigeons & Planes (who declared “Remi Wolf is one of the best newcomers in pop music”) came on board as media partner for the historic drive-in show.
